and the classified stuff just comes from analyzing the unclassified stuff

SAIL LABS cooperates with xLiMe project and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)

Vienna, Austria, November 10, 2016

SAIL LABS is proud to have contributed to the FP7 project xLiMe by providing the state-of-the-art Media Mining Indexer (MMI) for the automatic transcription of audio (i.e. Automatic Speech Recognition, ASR) for multiple languages. SAIL LABS’s MMI allows for the near real-time transcription of a variety of audio formats such as broadcast news or audio from user generated content. Within the scope of xLiMe, it was possible to transcribe massive amounts of data in parallel, thus allowing for the thorough evaluation of system results. Achim Rettinger, KIT Junior Research Group Leader at the Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB), expressed his gratitude for the uncomplicated and swift manner in which SAIL LABS agreed to contribute to the project. Due to the positive experiences, SAIL LABS and KIT are planning further cooperations in the future.
