The International Broadcast Convention is held at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam from the 12th – 16th September and showcases the latest technology and foremost business ideas in broadcasting and media. The exhibition is internationally renowned for being run by the industry for the industry and offers unparalleled expertise and opportunities in the fields of content creation, management and delivery.

SAIL LABS will demonstrate its latest ground-breaking innovation in speech technology at IBC 2008, to a vast number of key industry professionals.

Not only will SAIL LABS unveil their new major release of its flagship product for broadcast news indexing, the Media Mining Indexer 5.0., but will also showcase the full line of SAIL LABS’ solutions

Media Mining: The Media Mining Indexer enhances data from video and audio sources by transcribing, translating and indexing it automatically in a variety of languages, such as Arabic, English (US and UK), French, German, Greek, Norwegian, Polish, Russian and Spanish. New features include: new languages, system availability for Linux, accuracy and stability improvements.

Text Mining: The Text Mining Indexer is part of a powerful suite of integrated multimedia indexing and mining technologies. It produces a configurable automatic index from various text and media sources such as:

  • Plain text documents
  • Microsoft Word XP and 2003, HTML and PDF documents
  • E-mails on POP3 and IMAP servers
  • Web pages

Podmining: Enables podcast search engines to deliver relevant search results from podcasts – just like search engines do for text – by transforming unstructured audio material into indexed and searchable information.

The IBC show this year will see over 1300 companies exhibiting. It is the industry event of the year and SAIL LABS is proud once again to be in attendance.
